What Linux Operating Systems do you like?

I have been using Silverblue (39) for the last few days, must say I am impressed it feels very polished and gives me a sense that it is a very stable system which is what I am after. Downloading the update to 40 now.

What Linux Operating Systems do you like?

@Timber I've seen Silverblue 40 talked about a lot recently, enough so to make me try it out.

What seeds have you Purchased/Planted this year?

Sweetpeas in a planter, and 2 varieties of clematis to climb up the front of the house. Down the side of the grass more sweetpeas, California poppies and a wildflower mix. I'm sure there is one more in there, I just grabbed 4 packets of seeds as they were cheap.

    NHS=Negligent Health Service

I just had this with a GP. I have on my med records that I need antibiotics when I show signs of a chest infection developing for preventative reasons (to stop a condition from worsening). Pretty important note, GP spent a while looking for it whilst I was on the phone to them and they said they...

FBI raided the neighbour's house today

You donate one kidney and you're a hero. His neighbour donated five. You did say terrible!

This is getting ridiculous (energy prices - Strictly NO referrals!)

Amazing to see that the cost for electric and gas was so low, my usage cost just £1.20 on Saturday!

What "man jobs" have you done today?

Ah unfortunately not, I don't have the legs for it! Only did the rear part as it's easy and relatively safe access from a lower roof. Seems to be working as a fix, even with rain over the last couple of days the damp patch appears to be drying.

How Easy Is It To Sell an Old Piano These Days?

You may get £50/60 for the scones on ebay and would be an easier sell if you enable international shipping, there's a better market in the USA for antique candle holders, candelabras and sconces.

What "man jobs" have you done today?

Shuffled up on to the roof yesterday, have had a leak coming through from the rear fire break wall top (it extends above the roof tiles about 15cm) so went over it with bitumen fibre paint (evercryl) as recommended by a neighbour. Some neighbours have used it with success for the same problem...

If you have a drill then a hole saw would work.

OP courage is a charity service that operates between the MoD and NHS services. I had CBT through it when I was MD, good service - one on one was much more effective than group CBT.

This is getting ridiculous (energy prices - Strictly NO referrals!)

First week of tracker tariff on octopus - bills are nearly half of what they were (on OVO 1 year fixed). Admittedly it's a bit warmer now, but it's still nice to see that my bill is on track to be below £100 for the month. Hasn't been that way in a while.

    It's too hot :(

That's part of the reason I'd like to get air con, it does both so it's a year round solution.

Help me stop my desk from going saggy

Screwing into the back would offer more support, and you can use longer screws. If the back part is well supported and doesn't sag the front shouldn't. For cable management a few large screw hooks should do the trick.

    Electroplating - any recommendations?
