If it were a 50-50 ball then I'd agree with you but it was never going to be a 50-50 ball. Cech was always going to gather the ball before Hunt arrived on the scene.

    Tesco-branded software

good grief! it's even worse than I thought. I had always thought Ability software died away about ten years ago.

    Polite way of saying no?

    "OK. Let's talk fees....."

    Tesco-branded software

I agree. People who actually know what the coffee cup holder is for won't go near their software products. But Tesco don't need knowledgeable people to buy their products. Look at mobile phones. Tesco sell more mobiles than anyone else. Why? Because Tesco customers disengage what few...

There are no copyright issues here. It is a professionally produced dvd made for marketing purposes. I was able to copy the dvd this one now replaces. But I can't remember how I did it.

    Help please. DVD copy

I have this DVD which plays fine on a DVD/TV and on Macs but it won't work on an XP machine. I'm not too fussed about it not working on the XP machine but I'd like to copy it to my mac laptop hard disk and I can't even do this :( The dvd comprises two folders. An audio_ts folder which...

I broke a handbrake during a test drive.... I pay?

This is a key piece of safety equipment that obviously wasn't up to the job. Ask her to imagine the mayhem she would have caused the next time she parked on a hill. She should be thanking you.

    DEAR GOD! ENERGY PRICES! :(

Be very very wary when using online energy comparison sites. They *claim* to advise you of the cheapest provider in your area. What they actually do is provide you with the cheapest provider in your area that pays them a cut for introducing new customers. There can be a world of difference...

    DEAR GOD! ENERGY PRICES! :(

many people are being caught out by the annual review of budget schemes not really keeping up with the price increases of the last 18 months. If you hang onto your bills and can work a calculator then do your own review and tell your supplier how much you want to pay per month. Or contact them...

    DEAR GOD! ENERGY PRICES! :(

The true comparisson is between the 9.66 pence and the previous 6.75 pence. The 19.8 pence figure for the first x number of units is just the power company's way of taking the standing charge. Once upon a time all utility firms charged a fixed fee per month or per day for the standing...

    Outlook 2007 (Beta) Not rendering

Do you have Word 2007 installed? I think Outlook uses the rendering engine that is part of Word 2007. I'm not using it myself but this is what a mate told me. I've left a msg for him to get back to me if it is any different to this.

    Yet another fleabay thread

Would a retailer, high street or online, accept back a worn pair of footwear. No, of course not. Don't offer a partial refund as that shows you are weak or believe your position to be weak. Tell him the trainers were wrongly labeled :D
