I had the same issue and got ComboFix from bleepingcomputer.com (its free) and ran it in Safe mode, it detected and deleted iehighutil.exe and a bunch of other files & registry entries.
No problems since, the virus had my GTX 480 running at 95C just sitting idle at windows desktop.
I had the same symptoms as OP yesterday with my GTX 480.
I bought the card in 2010 and thought maybe it was on its way out, but turns out iehighutil.exe made its way onto my PC and was causing the GPU to reach 95C just sitting idle at windows desktop, Ive never seen it get that hot even when...
I went from a 34" CRT HDTV to a 50" Plasma HDTV and the increase in screen size certainly goes a long way in making gaming more enjoyable / immersive.
I haven't had any trouble with aiming on the larger screen, hopefully you're not experiencing input lag which would be related to the TV itself.
Something wrong with that comparison.. it makes the 360 version look semi washed out when in fact its not, the game has its own brightness adjustment as well.
From what Ive played so far (About 5 hours) I'd give it a 9.0 easily, I dont know what Eurogamer is smoking.
Ive been comparing both versions on my 5080HD Kuro plasma ,both consoles are set at 720P and both connected with HDMI cables.
The 360 version is considerably sharper for me and maintains a higher framerate most the time.. but both have framerate issues occaisionaly
Both versions have some...
lol yes I know its a plasma ..No LCD can display the kind of black levels these Kuro's produce (In fact, not even close) anyhow yea thats a good point tho.. Im new to Plasma but the general agreement seems to be they handle lower res content very well.
In comparison to my previous LCD's the Kuro's 480P output is leaps and bounds better and very very close to my CRT, Yea its 640x480 but at least its not getting butchered due to scaling / interpolation issues.
Wii looks fantastic on my 50" Kuro plasma even when compared to my 34" Sony XBR960 HDTV CRT ..its all about video processing / scaling.. unfortunately the majority of LCDs have poor 480i/480p scaling ability.
I recently bought a new tv (50" Kuro plasma) but haven't taken many game shots off it yet, here's what I have , followed by shots from my previous Sony CRT HDTV:
Kuro 5080HD Plasma:
Sony 34XBR960 CRT:
Yep It's calibrated but my camera tends to exaggerate colors, Normally stores would use "Dynamic" mode which is ridiculously bright and over saturated.
