do ocuk test all rma cpu's?

Did you get this issue sorted? If the CPU is retail boxed, you can RMA it directly back to Intel. The retailier is only responisble for OEM CPUs, they don't have to issue RMA for those either if they feel it's user abuse etc. Anyways, the best thing to do is Contact Intel, tell them that...

Core 2 Duo E8600 hits 6.25GHz with liquid nitrogen

Personal testing. I can't vouch for retail chips when they appear, but the ES chip I've had for the past month has been quite happy. 1.1v VID.

Birthday Time - Best Gfx Card around?

The GX2 is the fastest, with the 3870x2 not to too far behind. Personally, i'd steer clear of the dual GPU cards, as you would be limited by your CPU. Something like an 8800GT, as mentioned above would give good gains over your x1950pro. If you have a budget of around £300, you could buy the...

    SLI Unstable with 2 x 8800 GTX

Is the CPU overclocked ? If so, try running everything at stock speeds, inc both GPU's. Runnin an SLi setup will put more strain on the CPU than with 1 card alone.

    Q9450 & ASUS PK5 Premium

Yes, thats a 65nm Q6600 NOT a 45nm Q9 series. My Q6600 will do 535FSB on my board. My QX9650 WILL NOT DO OVER 470FSB whatever the settings/multi. What im getting at here is that a QX series chip will be of a better quality than any of the multi locked Q9series chips, mine for example is from...

    Q9450 & ASUS PK5 Premium

Yes, dual core Eseries chips will... I can get over 560FSB from my E8400... But Quads WILL NOT DO 500FSB, well, very very few of them will anyways.
