True but chances are that if they were indeed innocent then it would have been realised way before the 40 years is up.
Obviously its still very difficult to compensate for stolen time but at least we would be in a position to try and compensate unlike if they had been executed.
It is not sympathy towards the murderers in wanting to abolish the death penalty, it is because executions are a renunciation of civilization, a renunciation of our concept of humanity. Executions degrade all of us imho.
To kill someone to show that killing is wrong does not make sense. The...
If when we locked them up we did this too them: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/gloucestershire/6284184.stm
then I could understand, however I believe when we lock people up we educate and try to rehabilitate them so that we can hopefully oneday release them back into society if they are...
It is often argued that those who kill should be treated by the state in the same way as the murderers treated their victims. To do this would not only be copying the very crime that society condemns, but allowing murderers and criminals to set the standard for the whole of society. Thus...
Unlike other punishments once the death penalty is carried out there is no way to alleviate the results. There can be no pardon, no compensation, nothing can be done to correct the error. This means that those responsible must make infallible decisions with the lives of others. Yet the evidence...
Governments should be upholding the value of life. Everyone should be taught to respect life, and that each person's life is unique and precious. No one has the right to kill another person--not a murderer and not the government. It is hypocritical for any society to claim that premeditated...
The death penalty is hypocritical and it's supporters complete hypocrites!
And I find it hard to have a great deal of respect for hypocrites tbh.
They should be locked away for life as they have clearly displayed that they are a massive danger to the safety of the general public.

Then I would question it's effectiveness as those size fans cannot help but make annoying high pitch noises at rpms that generate decent air movement.
But yeah if it's performing/acting significantly different to when you first bought it then your are totally within your consumer rights to...
Pre-built external HD's come with crippled warranties for obvious reason ie your more likely to use them (the warranty that is not the Hd :p )
It's far better to simply buy a 3.5" HD (Seagate ST3250620A (7200.10)250GB Hard Drive 7200RPM 16MB Cache = £40) and then shop about for the best USB...
What the above thing?
Well it's gonna be noisy it's got 3 small fans which means annoying high pitch noise if they spin at a decent rate!!
A £1 120mm FAN running at 6-8v blowing over the ram would probably be more effective and certainly miles quieter not to mention a shed load cheaper!!
