Bad luck.... I used a block of wood when de-lidding mine, it was very easy to do... I'd suggest u try it again with this method :D I can't think of any game which would benefit having an i7, in my experience

Don't bother using an antivirus personally but if something untoward happens Malwarebytes generally fixes it!

You could download a linux distribution like http://linuxmint.com/ and put it on USB with Rufus https://rufus.akeo.ie/. When running linux mint, use the "Disks" tool

Arms race is my favorite! been playing on Linux, had to change to a Nvidia GPU becuase of the poor performance (stuttering mainly) on an amd GPU

what exactly is coil whine? I get a slight noise when moving the mouse, and some varying noise from the GPU if its under load (this is through a PCI sound card with the volume turned up on the mixer)

I have tested 2 Gigabyte FM2 boards recently with samsung green modules in an attempt to clock them at 2133mhz. I'm currently running them on a Z77 board at 2133mhz without any issue. For some unknown reason, if I set the memory speed above 1600mhz, it will refuse to boot. Boards I tested...

If you want good performance from integrated graphics, you'll need higher memory speeds, rather than lower latencies. I use overclocked sammies too & get 10-10-10-28-1T @ 2133 1.45v

oh dear.. how did you know this? I've been using IBT a long time now, I thought it was more accurate. is OCCT a better program to use?
