w00t??!!
Just tried logging into my account on the main site and I'm getting this error. I've been a customer for a good few years now and I can't access my account?? Any idea what's happening?
Sorry if this is the wrong place, but I couldn't find anywhere else suitable to post this.
Not forgetting this is a quad-rail psu (20 Amp each). I'd recommend using 2 seperate cables. Try one by all means, but if you get power problems you have an idea what to try next ;)
I flashed my HIS 7950 with the HIS bios from that thread, and I lost the HDMI too. Maybe it's normal? (whatever that is)
Don't know about the miniDP tho, I put my old card back in for my second monitor.
It may be an error in GPU-Z. Try the latest version. If 2048 cores is true then congrats ;)
windows will only ever make that partition if it needs to. As rpstewart points out, this will be when your boot drive is anything other than the drive windows is installed on.
I'd be more surprised to see this reversed:)
Manuals/instructions.
These should be the first things gathered from the boxes. Sit down with a cup of tea and study them, twice, making notes for yourself.
Don't go straight to the goodies like I've done several times. Being prepared for those uh-oh!! moments saves a hell of a lot of time...

Mainly because the pipes on the corsair coolers are crimped onto really skinny unions.
The case because you can never have too much space when you talk cooling.
I hardly ever use my printer so this used to come up really often - the printheads would clog with dried ink and I could never get them to clear properly with the printer's built in software. So buying new cartridges (or even a new printer) every time I wanted to print something became the norm...
Can't see anything out of the ordinary. My core_17s pause untidily like that too. Can you post the config section of the log?
I do notice that 1% is taking you 39+ minutes, so I agree there does appear to be something wrong.
Have you recently had some updates from microsoft, they could include...
Are you using your passkey for the QRB? My 7950 is turning out ~115k+ with core_17s on a PCI-e 2 motherboard. The cpu shouldn't be holding you back by anything significant.
Even if it's a rev 5.0 board you'll still be restricted a lot in the CPU you can use, and is only PCI-e v2.0.
I think the time may have come for you to upgrade both the CPU and the mobo. Everything else can be recycled in your new build.
