BARGAIN - OcUK 24" with DVI (*VA Panel) for £179.99+VAT (This Week Only Deal!!)

Seriously - if you're looking for an excuse not to buy it then that's fine.

Seriously , if you want to fix £250 worth of kit to the wall using 4 self-tapping screws feel free (I'm not quite sure if I should put a rolleyes in here or not :D).

I want to buy this monitor as it seems to be a ****** good display but having to dismantle the unit and use self-tappers does seem a bit of a limitation.

I would not dismantle it, but going by comments, the Bracket Mounting Land on rear has 4 non threaded holes, they will be suffice to secure to the bracket with correct self tapping bolts (I aint talking the tiny diameter ones you think of).

Here you go, a lot more vivid to the naked eye, actually shows up better I grey I think

That line looks a lot like the damping wires on the CRT Trinitron displays. I am using a trinitron CRT right now and I have 2 of them. Obviously LCD screen dont have any damping wires so it looks like a fault. Its almost as though you have a row of dead pixels spanning the entire length of the screen. It might be RMA time for you.

I placed my order for this screen today at 1430hrs, but it was not shipped out :( So, it looks like I shall receive it on Monday, providing they ship it tomorrow.

Have to got anything to test the picture using the DVI-D port? I suspect it will be the same though.

By the way, anyone managed to register their warranty yet?

I will try for a direct RMA as it's onsite swap, less hassle that way fingers crossed. It's the same on DVI and VGA, tried two cables on DVI as well. I am certain it wasn't doing it earlier, so it seems to have developed whilst it was off. You are right about it being like dampening lines, similar. However my 22" iiyama had those and they weren't as prominatnt as this is.

It's annoying but hopefully iy will be quickly resolved, I think it is one of the lines not working tbh.

Mine coming Friday =] I have a 19" DGM which was registered when bought, it was the URL on the plastic screen cover I think. Took minutes and an e-mail is sent to say its all done.

The 19" is still working ace but considering the price and actual panel used in this monitor thought it worth the money.

Will this work with xbox 360 straight out of the box? Or do i need this VGA adaptor cable?

You need that cable because the display only has DVI-D and VGA inputs. I have an Xbox 360 and I am using it with this monitor using the VGA cable. It can display up to 1920 x 1080 using the VGA lead.

registered when bought, it was the URL on the plastic screen cover

Yeah the URL was on the screen cover of this one too but the registration page doesn't have this paticular model listed.

The cable comes with an adapter to plug into the 3.5mm jack iirc, also has Optical out for digital. :)

Yeah, you get a 2x phono to 3.5mm audio jack adapter in the cable kit so you could plug them into the monitors speakers or an external set of speakers. I use the optical SPDIF on the VGA cable which is connected to my surround sound using a optical TOSLINK cable.

Received mine this morning all working well except when i try and use DVI the screen just goes mental it shakes and goes back to front and everythings orange. But when i set the resolution down it's fine, im guessing it's coz i have an old card (9800PRO) and it cant handle higher resoulitions over DVI right?

Everything works fine over VGA though.

Anyone?
