How often do you go on holiday?

Only do week long abroad holidays every few years.

Usually it's a couple of festivals, a weekend break in london. Then 1-2 weekend breaks abroad on cheap deals.

Although this year hasn't been great and just done a few festivals.

All with friends..

I haven't been away in 7 years and I no longer intend to. Kids have grown up and I'm too old for any of that nonsense now.

Holidays have never ever meant anything to me. I haven't enjoyed a single one of them. Just an excuse to go and spend money for a week of doing bugger all apart from sat next to a pool.

Did Norway, Sweden and Finland for 3 weeks in January

Did Norway again in March (6 days)

Prague. Bratislava and Munich in April ( 8 days)

Malta in July ( 7 days)

Greece right after Malta ( 8 days)

Have Rome and Rio coming up next month for 12 days

Poland and Spain for 2 weeks in early December

Doing New Years eve in Iceland and staying on 5 days

Where do you work? Quite a lot of holiday!:cool:

How many times do you go on holiday a year?
One, sometimes twice.

Do you always go abroad?
No.

Perhaps you have one huge holiday abroad and a few mini breaks throughout the year?
Not often.

Where do you normally go?
Somewhere we haven't been before.

With family, friends or both?
Both.

Do you have a fixed budget or do you go with the flow?
Go with the flow.

Just wondering. :)

I've only ever been abroad on school/university trips. Had a few holidays in the main-land when I was younger with the family. Other than that, I can't remember the last time I went on 'holiday'

First time I flew was actually last year, to Prague. Other than that, I've been to Ireland, France (for a day), and Switzerland.

Plan on travelling in the next couple of years though, so that will make up for it all, and possibly sailing around the Med for a week next year if all goes well. :D

Self Employed Trainer and Engineering Supervisor. My schedule is thankfully flexible so I can go away as often as possible. I spent practically no money on myself, just the essential bills. What's left I save and put £500 a month to my travelling fund

Once a year normally. Probably going to be just with friends after this years hilarious time in spain :D.

I seem to be going a fair bit, I have been twice this year, I guess I want to see all the places worth seeing while I am young.

I need to visit South America, Australasia and Japan and maybe Russia to have seen the places I want to see.

do you ever go out of europe?

i pay £500 for a years pitch in st agnes , so as i work a 3 night week instead of blowing cash on a night out i will just go down there and surf , suppose to you folks who live in the south west thats just normal life but to me its heaven spending long days in the ocean , having a bbq then sometimes satellite spotting in an amazing clear sky (cant see anything where i live ,all washed out with pollution) so i would say maybe 20 holidays a year plus trips to the east coast ravenscar ect:)

I've not been on holiday since 2005, when I went to the USA for 2 weeks. Plan to go somewhere next year, I'd like to drive to Europe.
