Just got back, wasn't a bad show. Shame the weather was so bad in the morning but got better later in the afternoon. As usual a real mixture of cars, there was a large chav contingent, but there were decent cars there too, something for everyone.
The main thing for me about Trax is the track sessions, and in that respect it didn't dissapoint. A round of the ECD drift chapoinship was held and Shane Lynch had a massive coming together with the other Japspeed skyline, writing both cars off
I had two track sessions, both in the morning when the track was wet and it was like an ice-rink, I've never known a track so slippery. I thought is was just my plastic chinese tyres, but then a 106 understeered off the track infront of me at a low speed :/
I gave up trying to get the power down, so just pootled along the straights, only giving some beans in forth which was the only gear I had anything resembling traction. I took all the bends completely sideways
The Skyine is amazingly easy to control when getting sideways, I was having a ball
Here's a quick picture that kind of sums my time on the track:
Sorry for the poor quality, it's a camera phone picture of a printed picture I bought. Some of my friends took pics so I'll post better quality shots when I get them.
