Trax 2008

holy cow  I can only assume the driver didn't come out of that too well!

On the other hand, nice pics of the 'liner, looks like you were having fun :D

Went to this today, the morning was absolutely miserable and nearly ended up going home but it perked up and was quite enjoyable, had never been before though and wasn't as big as I was expecting (weather turned people off perhaps?)

Anyway here are some of my pictures I took:

That crash was mental! I wasn't paying attention when they started off because from where I was sitting I could hardly see the cars at the starting line, when I looked up I just saw the 2 Skylines colliding with each other and the crowds started cheering.

A photo I took of the damaged Skyline:

Roll cages are amazing things! I thought the drifting got very boring very quickly so had walked off about 5 mins before the bump! The demonstration they did including a bit more of the track last year was a better spectacle in my opinion. It seems daft to have 30seconds of close together action then a big pause while the same to drivers drive back around to the start to go again.

As for the rest of the day it was not as good as in previous years. The weather in the morning had a lot to do with it and it was not pleasent at all. There seemed to be a lot less traders this year, and less promo girls! But thankfuly no MC rubbish people! Without the grass to park on the club stands were all over the place miles apart. Even so it seemed a lot less busy.

There were far to many skylines around as well there seemed to be as many as the usual saxos and corsas, and almost as many as there were blue Subarus. My favorite show car all day was probably the red 911RSR. Other than that there was a smart Asta Belmont SRi and a nice red Volvo 850R parked up!

I had fun driving down with my friends in their Capri and Spitfire and great fun going back up to shropshire by A road when it was dry :)

Bloody things are ten-a-penny now..... ;)

To be fair, they still aren't as common a sight on roads as Scoobys etc, at least round here anyway. I reckon I probably see maybe one or two a week other than mine.

Opposite to where I live. Bleedin' things are everywhere lol. Hardly a single Scooby around!
