It's snowing

5-6" here in Selby, North Yorkshire, but I rekon by tonight it'll have all gone away. My parents are taking me back to Manchester today so should be interesting on the road and judging by the jam cams roads are fine and Manchester has no snow compared to here.

Only about an inch here in Wigan but my street has a piddly incline and gets a bit slippy. So all the neighbours just wheel spin all the way up the street and glaze it over. Idiots.

Woke up and was shocked when I saw this lol

Coming down thick and fast here in Alcester, Warwickshire. No doubt getting home tonight will be an absolute mission, due to the number of people that will be refusing to drive above 5mph and still managing to skid into trees and other people.

look a few posts up and its says my area :)

Interesting that it is supposed to snow today, tomorrow and the day after. Sure i see snow from the other day but nothing new has fallen. Infact its really sunny here in coventry so .. meh

Yeah, I woke up, opened curtains and was really surprised! I hadn't checked weather forecast or anything, and I just thought it was getting warmer! Ah well, it was a nice surprise at least :)

It is. I was really suprised it snowed this morning (had an inch that lasted an hour) as it is so warm outside.

However February is normally when it snows. Probably be a slightly below average February to go with a reasonably below average January.

Place your bets on "the coldest winter since..."

I'm reckoning around 1999 as January was only 20 years and the last ten years have been generally record breakingly warm so go back to when it was actually cold in winter and you get to around 1999.:p

Hopefully we get some more snow round here (that actually stays) as we haven't really had much this winter (no more than average for the last few years anyway).:(
