Just doing my third run at the OP settings and had 170 then 179

It did crash out like some others but I ran in windowed mode until the blokie appears hit alt and return to go to full screen then start the first run - perhaps try that?

So are we running DOF on or off ? Is it on by default?

Thus run is GPUs at stock and CPU @ 4.2

third run just finished 170 179 and 171 I'll post a screenie in a bit and try some OC action :)

Are you 100% sure you have high tessellation enabled and working, try switching through the three levels of tessellation with F2, do you notice the tessellation be applied when you do this. IMO keep DOF off, looks to be dodgy, it's off by default.

I would say yes - the screenshot shows the seetings along side the results
 
Well, something if definately amiss - EVGA precision on my G15 LCD was nowhere near the FPS the bench was showing, so I fired up FRAPS and it was "close" to EVGA, but not exactly the same, but also well off the FPS the bench was showing - I took some random photos during the bench run showing the bench adn FRAPS FPS counters:

As you can see quite a difference of opinion :P

TBH I dont think the FPS were as low as FRAPS was reporting either way something is definately off kilter here :S
 
I noticed a few times it seemed to be flickering to 400fps when I benched it but thought it was just cycling fps so fast I was mis-reading.

I would take fraps over anything else its usually correct. That does throw suspicion tho on any performance rating this throws up from any card.
 
I would tend to agree withyou mate, but as I say the FRAPs results also "felt" a little low :S

Heres a run with tesselation and DOF off for comparison
