Hazro HZ30Wi: End user review

My Hazro's arrived yesterday - I got the DUO (same as Duff man I think).

Bad ass panel - Fantastic panel - really close to the Dell 3008 that's also on my desk - i prefer it over the Dell 3008 for the un colour sensitive work I do,

Haven't set everything up properly yet - will post back with more pics shortly.

Sorry I haven't managed the Picture sizes - but if you have 2 30 inch monitors on your desk it should look ok :) :) :) (and I'm hosting them so ...)

Placed a Pre-order :D

Anyone know when they will be back in stock?

Plus OCUK has pulled the funds from my back without actually haveing dispatched the item? Is this not against the law?

Wow - huge pictures :p

The duo looks very nice :) I didn't get one myself, I actually got two individual screens to work as side-monitors in a triple-screen setup (with the HP zr30w in the centre).

I'm curious, did you find any dead pixels on either of your screens?

The Hazro rep guy in the main Hazro thread said that OcUK should be receiving the first batch tomorrow, so hopefully they will be available and in stock from then.

OcUK have always taken funds immediately on pre-order items. Kind of cheeky, but certainly not against the law. I remember a good few years back (2004?) having paid for an ATI x800xt-pe GPU for two months while it was on pre-order. In the end I cancelled the order as stock in the UK was just non-existent.

Duff-man ,

You post about that incredible setup (3 x 30 inchers) yet don't post pictures?

Your review is worthless with out pictures of that setup!!!!
:p

And it doesn't take long if you don't bother to resize them :) :) :)

Take it easy bro,

I only have a camera phone picture - really poor quality. Let me try and upload it somehow :) Perhaps I can email it to myself...

Okay, here you are:

Apologies again for the crap quality. I think I need to do it in better light conditions or something.

Enormous set up is enormous. 2560x1600 x3 = a lot of pixels!

Twelve megapixels of shiny goodness :D

I have to say, I'm pretty pleased with the setup (apart from the fact that it can't do nvidia surround, which means I'm going to have to replace the ZR30W with another Hazro). The entire setup (including PC) cost me more than the car I have now though, so it damn well better look good!

The stand that Hazro provide is also highly adjustable, allowing the screen to be raised to quite a height - enough that it can be rotated into portrait mode. I'm not aware of any other 30" screens that have this capability, so that's really quite a nice feature to see, although personally I much prefer landscape mode.

Duff Man, the NEClcd3090wqxi can do portrait as standard and its been out a long time
