Hazro HZ30Wi: End user review

I would like to bump this thread to get feedback from Hazro HZ30Wi owners. We are looking to revise the pixel policy and would welcome feedback from users as to how they found their panels.

Also, any other feedback would be great.

Hi Hazro,

Collected mine today from OcUK, love it!!

Excellent panel, checked for dead pixels none found.

No backlight bleed either.

Also i know others/reviews mentioned that earlier screens shipped with the stand seperate. Mine was all attached and read to rock and roll.

Just turned the brightness down a couple of notches and all is good :)

Good to hear your happy with the HZ30Wi. This is perhaps the 4th or 5th end user rating [available publicly] confirming zero dead pixels. I did say we were in the process of doing something about this and we will: on the next batch going to OCUK, we'll have revised our instruction manuals. We would appreciate front-end reviews directly on the OCUK website:

Also, all stands come attached to the monitor: never separate.

the pixel policy is putting me off purchasing two of these monitors and also the return to base for repair. I am assuming that Hazro will arrange collection or is that our responsibility to post?

Wow very good review, i was recently looking into this screen (albeit its more window shopping) but enjoyed reading none the less ^^. Getting jealous with all the duals and trips you guys got going here, very nice.

I also got my order of the HZ30Wi last Thursday. I've not noticed any serious flaws; no dead pixels, no noticeable backlight bleed, if any. The whole monitor is just incredible quality and I'm really enjoying using. The extra desktop space is awesome, now my old 24 incher feels cramped!
The stand is also nice. I had to loosen up the hex screws a bit, just as the manual said, to be able to adjust without force.
I keep the brightness at level 2 or 3, it's really bright, and the range of colors seem to be quite good out of box. Though I think I will get this calibrated later on.

I though to post this even not being in the UK, so I ordered directly from Hazro. It took a while to wait for delivery, but it was all worth it. Almost tempted to get another one.. :D

Thanks,
Ron

Mine is 100% fine.

Only downside is that in a dark room waching a DVD the black bars that are created as this is a 16:10 monitor are not black... But thats due to the nature of IPS

Thanks for the feedback - glad your enjoying your monitor. We finally managed to ship out all pre-orders last week so sorry for the delay.
