Delivery Announcement. Due to the large backlog of deliveries waiting to be fulfilled, DPD have informed us that their will be no Saturday deliveries wil be delivered this Saturday (18th Dec). We apologise on behalf of DPD. If you need to contact us, may I please remind you that our support channels are open 8.30 - 5.30 Monday to Friday, 9.00 - 5.00 on Saturdays and 10.00 - 4.00 on Sundays.

DPD

If there is a backlog, Surely you would make all the deliveries you could on a Saturday to clear it. It's a busy time of the year FFS. My delivery was a day late. Waited in for nothing. Looks like my next order is going to be late too.

Yeah there logic is flawed huh LOL. Other delivery companies are working saturday and even sunday to clear the backlog.

OCUK Really need to offer a different courier option than DPD they are aweful.

DPD are brilliant for me, always here around mid day and packages arrive the next day.:)

We use a couple of couriers at work depending on where shipments are going and the weight. I also agree that DPD are the best for delivery times as well.

They are working Saturday, and Sunday, they are delivering the backlog though, not premium service Saturday delivery parcels. They are saying, don't bother using Saturday Delivery, we're busy doing other parcels.

doesn't ups cost allot more?

I'm happy that my 6970 is coming on time (next day) at least according to tracking.

I think the backlog depends much on the area.

Ah, my bad. Cheers.

I made an order less than half and hour ago, i wonder what all this means for me in South Wales.

Well your DPD depot is in Gloucester and everything coming from there is being delivered next day as far as I can see, even deliveries up as far as hereford so you should be okay (assuming angry gods don't drop 2 foot of now and ice on you tonight).

DPD have never let me down in around 30 deliverys since they were appointed. Miles better than DHL which used to be someone turning up in their banged out fiesta with tons of top quality PC stuff in the back!

Hmm I wonder if they'll deliver my order this weekend then, foolishly I chose the 12am delivery option before seeing there is a 2 day delay in the Nottingham depot.

don't you dare try to convince ocuk to go back to citiunlink. awful awful service. dpd are spot on, at least in london they are. always always on time and next day.

Citylink have always been fine for me, guess it depends what area you live in, UPS arent too bad either.

Guess they must have took my PC off the van and put some other backlog on instead, probably how it arrived broke.

Oh what? I ordered for Saturday for my Cataclysm Hellfire, LG LED 22" MX518 Mouse and Arctosa Razer keyboard, But the man on the phone said he would ring me and tell me when its being dispatched, the status is Printed in our warehouse, reckon ill get it tomorrow (Friday) and would they let a 15 year old sign for it? ^^
