Need help spending £2000 Gaming Rig

been on in the bio for about 10mins and at 48c. this is with out any side panels on if that makes any diffrence

Yeah but @6ms grey to grey you'll certainly see some trailing that u won't see on a 2ms grey to grey monitor.

It all comes down to the person whether they see any trailing or not, overall the IPS panel is much better than a TN one - also is the 2ms done via overdrive or not?

Sounds better, run Prime 95 and see what the temps reach, you can also have CPU-Z open to monitor the core speed.

im using my old hard drives. When i transfer them over do i need to wipe them first? has W7 on there and a few other crap that i dont need.
if i do is there anyway i can keep a video on there and some photos?
Have tried to find my memory stick but cant find it so i could transfer it that way.

You could create a little partition big enough to store your photos and video and then wipe and install onto the bigger partition with everything else on, then transfer the files and delete the little partition and extend the bigger one to get full capacity back...if that makes sense :D

Nice set-up too, looks too good!

Edit: aren't you installing windows on the SSD? then after you install windows just copy over what you need, wipe the HDD, and then copy it back.

yes i am. ill have a go thanks ;)

As the other guys have said, £2000 is enough to set you up for years to come. Pour the rest in-to a high quality monitor or just save it if you need to upgrade anything in the future.

this is a stupid question :p

But should my psu fan be on all the time? as when the system is on the fan isn't running.

When you start using the PC to do stuff the PSU will monitor its self and temps and the power being drawn and will ramp up the fan speed automatically.

Quality components are pure quality, once you have sorted the cable neatness out that build will look stunning.

ok its done apart from sorting all the wires out and downloading all the updates ect. but everything is installed.
