the agility 3 seems to out-do the m4 but i have seen loads of good reviews for the m4 with regards to real time performance. the agility clearly is faster than the m4 on paper but is it really?
Personally, I think all-out speed is overrated for hard drives. I want reliability first. The OCZ/Corsair may have faster write speeds, but that doesn't count for much in most SSD usage. Read speed, and small file read/write is where it's at, and the M4 is no slouch. For the price, it's a bargain as well. Close to £1->1GB (Finally!).
agree m4 went through 3 ocz's each with bad blocks/health degrading within the first few weeks random lock up's and bosds, so far my m4's been stable no issues not bosds etc
My Corsair is pretty stable. I had a few issues but turning off C1E fixed low performance numbers and getting rid of Perfect Disk seems to have stopped the soft hangs (could be any disk management software?) Did have some BSOD initially also but not recently so they could have been down to other things.
As stated above it's all about the small reads/wrights rather than flat out peak performance of large files, also don't be fooled by sequential small file reads (queue depth) large queue depth numbers are better than small but they are never seen in general operation of an SSD.
