Chang from WArtapes to Surround Sound and make sure Windows 7 is also set to 5.1. I don't know about the Xonar but ensure if it has its own control panel that 5.1 speakers are set in there too.

Setting this to high causes your player to jump behind a rock due to extreme shyness and bury their head in the sand. At least your FPS will rocket

Code:

1. go here: C:\Users\YOU\Documents\Battlefield 3\settings
2. Open PROF_SAVE_profile with notepad++ (can download for free)
3. Change the following variables:

GstInput.MouseSensitivity 0.050000 ;
1st one is the normal mouse sens. USE whatever you like, or keep it the way it is.

These three however I edited and it solved many problems for me.

GstInput.Scheme0Sensitivity 0.000000
GstInput.Scheme1Sensitivity 0.000000
GstInput.Scheme2Sensitivity 0.000000

Should be an option to feign death. I can't remember what game had this in but I remember it being great fun.

Just like EA should never have removed diving from FIFA (though I suspect FIFA themselves had a hand in this).

If it keeps happnening check to see if there is a folder called pb or something inside your Battlefield 3, Origin Games folder.

Every 20 seconds after joining a server I'd be kicked by the administrator and it turns out punkbuster wasn't installed with BF3, even though I told it to.

Just paid and downloaded from Origin only to find i can`t play for another 3 days, as release date is 28/10/11. Nowhere, whilst purchasing the game did it mention anything about not being able to play until your release date is reached. I think i may get in contact with paypal and cancel. I`M off sick at the moment and was looking forward to playing this today, not Friday.

It does need fixed. I've not sure if it's an issue with negative accel but it's inconsistant for me when looking around.

I can move my mouse the exact same distance horizontally across my mat but depending on the speed I move it, it will turn my soldier a different amount each time.

Is there a way to bind keys to mouse? Can't bind my scroll button and an extra button.

Why on earth would you cancel unless you have decided you never ever want to play?
