Project - Charity Build- Narcolepsy UK

Just donated, have been watching Connors builds for a while and would like to wish him all the best in raising as much as possible for Narcolepsy UK.

Utterly fantastic read, I followed the original build thread of his PC. I've got to admit, it's a completely admirable thing that these companies are doing to help Connor, yourself and the charity.

Really is heart warming to know that so many companies are willing to put in the effort and give a little back every now and then. Even more fantastic is how behind you OcUK and the Forums are, really nice to see a community of basically complete strangers come together for a good cause and all chip in. Was going to help with Connors build but before you know it all the parts I could offer you already had better of :p

Best of luck with everything, off to help you on your way.

Holy massive case Batman! DAYUM!

Would it not be better to use the Cosmos as the main prize since it's the biggest/most expensive case? Just a thought

Verrry nice. Will be donating. Maybe OCUK could put this/link on their front page?

Thanks for that and best of luck :)

CaptainRAVE said:
Might be worth putting a link for this in general hardware too. The project log section is generally pretty quiet - I am sure a lot of people will miss it, but would otherwise like to donate.

Is a good thought!

might be worth dropping a link in GD too! A hell of a lot of people active there!

Ok little update to Antec Case (2nd prize)

The inspiration for the design comes from both a recent event Antec attended (Insomnia), They had huge black and yellow banners above their booths. Its also a bit of a nod to someone that has been most supportive to us throughout.

The work took a little longer than anticipated, Connor couldn’t get a the desired finish on the test panels with the masking tape we had at hand. We used some adhesive plastic, which has 1cm grids on their..which helped a lot!

as mentioned masking tape wasn't giving Connor a clean edge after painting, Time to make the template.
