doesnt mater at the moment, I havent had mine registered, updated to ios 7 with no problems. I would be quick though if you intend to do just in case they switch authentication back on

certainly will take some getting used to. isnt all that snappy on my 4s, prob a fair bit better on the 5. Apple do like to gently push you into upgrading your phone this way

I agree it going to take some use to. I think I might go back to 6.1.4 not sure yet... but suppose we have to get use to the new software once it our unless we move to a new phone such as Samsung GS4

I have iPhone 5 on 6.1.3 and interested to try the beta.

If i want to jailbreak in the future is this a bad idea or will 6.1.3 never be jailbroken so it wont matter me upgrading?

yes i am currently running ios7 in my iphone 5 was on 6.1.4 before upgrade.

for UK phone go to our favourite download site and its called

iPhone 5 CDMA and GSM

A1428 is for USA phones only and the one called A1429 is actually A1428 as well.

You can also restor to iOS 6 is it breaks just put it into recovery mode.

Hmmm, my lad just tried to update with his to iOS 7 and it wouldn't activate it becuase his phone wasn't registered. Weird, let me do it fine and I've never registered.

Guess it can only be one of 2 things

1: they have switched on the checks again
2: he did update his phone to the latest proper version over wifi. I always update via iTunes.

Either way, I had to put it in dfu mode for him to restore back to iOS 6.14

I got my UDID registered but it took a while. Was stuck at cant activate device for about 10 hours. Works on my 4S. But its very hit and miss performance wise etc etc. Might wanna hold off a for a couple of betas.

Works really well except that the multi tasking screen causes the phone to crash also seems to be spanking the battery - some of the icons are fugly!!

Overall v impressed.
