*** Show us your bikes! ***

Right thought I'd post up a pic of "Irene" me CBF600. Its called Irene as it reminds me of the mother in law when I ride it, overweight, underpowered and dull to look at :p. God knows what Honda were thinking of when they designed the side parts of the nose fairing:rolleyes: and they subsequently remodelled it on the later bikes. Still, its comfy, very easy to ride, great tank range (175 miles from full to reserve light coming on) engine is very easy to use as its the opposite of a "peaky", steering is great due to the leverage available on the high 'ish bars, comfy too. I only really use it as a commuter and a bit of running around and its perfect for that.
Still think its ugly though.

yeah me to! I like going down the coast and long rides on sundays and it kills the price for fuel now days.. bike manufacturers should be doing a lot more now days at making bikes more fuel efficient ...Its one of the most important things I look at when buying a bike now

So after looking for a decent SV650s for too long and getting impatient. I've just gone and put a deposit down on a GSX650F, '10 with 1050 miles on the clock. Pick it up Friday :) pics to follow sometime soon.

The first few mods will be:

Remove grab rail - Any idea what bungs/inserts i can put in to cover the mounting holes?
Remove rear footpegs
Replace exhaust - Mivv most probably

This is my 2003 954 fireblade, its an old pic and have since mad a few mods such as an akrapovic exhaust , power commander, damper and a few other bits and bobs.

And please excuse my back yard, it seems people use it as a dumping ground for unwanted bikes and assorted cars.....
