Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

Got to laugh at certain people who say they aren't bothered about their KD ratio. They join a server and then somehow manage to get themselves moved over to the team who are absolutely dominating the game. :rolleyes:

It kind of puts a lesser skilled player like me completely off playing the game.

I only play on servers with the correct scripts running, if any player tries this, it not only prevents them but calls their names out on public chat :>
 
Played a round of domination just now, having a good laugh as aggressive recon. Got to the end of the round and sure enough the server crashed. Last night it was fine aside from taking a few attempts to join some games.

well i am using the wifi built into my motherboard (asrock Z77e-itx) and it says it is connecting at 70mbps

might make a huge ethernet cable up at work and then try it

Its very unlikely to be graphics lag if your moving more than a couple of frames or so (<1 footish in distance).

On with westie, wes, kiwi etc. etc.

We were absolutely destroying and...........game disconnected, something went wrong.

As kiwi says, we think the admin probably did something as we were controlling the air, sea and land, just destroying everything in sight.

I must have at the very least 35+ kills and no deaths with a **** load of point plus ranked up :(

Yeah the team balance, join squad system thing is broke. Often I get moved from a team/squad to the other side with who I originally clicked onto join. Quite annoying though as if someone clicks to join on you, you then get removed from the squad with your friends into the new one.

IIRC it is soooo bad that a lot of the servers are starting to turn that option of, iirc TFU have?
 
not good Nexus, so frustrating this game isn't it.
It goes from being head in my hands on my desk so mad, to smiling with joy lol.

Last few rounds were great.. but I cant get on with the Rush mode on B4 (or B3), on BC2 it was like the game was designed around it. On this its feels like Rush was an afterthought, empty looking Rush maps, bland streets and offices. Shame.. hopefully it will grow on me, but Rush was so much easier, enjoyable before this

so anyway after swearing and clutching my fists on Rush, I went back to Conquest. Luckily I enjoyed it
 
Well my first REALLY annoying crash tonight, one of my best rounds so far score wise, about 50 tickets before the end . . CRASH. So frustrating!

By the way, decided to monitor things tonight, my 7850 is using 1.5Gb of VRAM it seems. Does that sound right? I would have thought it would be topping out?
 
Just had a round where not a single shot would register - not even against static targets :|

I know theres a lot going on ingame but its not that hard to have decent registry against infantry targets - even quake 1 was more consistent.

Also binned my Origin friends list since most players just want to team/squad up with other high standard players. Back to being a lone wolf for me. Dare I say it, I might even give sniping a try. :)

I haven't had a server crash or any issues joining a server since the R6 patch. The only problems I get now is rubber banding on the odd occasion.

Not sure how to take the fact you binned me off :(
 
I'm getting memory leaks now. Looks like it is more AMD related but some people with Intel / Nvidia also reported it. Game starts to freeze up after a few rounds with memory hitting 98%. Even if you manage to come out of the game the leak it still there so you have to reboot.
 
Can someone tell me in a battlepack, how do I activate the 50% XP?

In one battlepack I got 50% and 100% XP.. do I select one or are they automatic etc?

just third one of the night (mem leak), its been ok last few days now bad again. have to reset now
