Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

ok just tried ultra 1.7/1.8GB VRAM usage 98% GPU usage (looks like no bottleneck then now at 4Ghz) most of the time was sat in the 60's dropped to 50's during heavy battle and when the storm came in
 
And another ****ing crash!

Fed up with this game now and just going to wait till the next patch arrives, pointless playing when that **** happens.

Tempted to seek a refund due to how buggy this damn thing is......
 
CQ247 changed the 64 man CQ server into a 32man Domination server (CQ247 Dominatrix & Midgets Pleasure Palace HC) as the stock maps have basically no room for infantry.

48 man CQ large remains.

32 man domination was great on that server, just had a few goes earlier and it's perfect.
 
Had a CTD free run this evening on 64 player rush, which I have to admit is all I play. I have a feeling I may have to play engineer or support in this game. I simply can't keep up playing assault. :o
 
I must have spent least time playing Flood Zone and Operation Locker so far. I try to avoid the latter but FZ never seems to come up on the rotation when I'm playing.
 
plays smooth as butter for me....except
i am gettting loads of internet lag (running on the spot, i move then it puts me back to where i was etc)
now will prob get shouted at, but i am playing over wireless to my BT Hub4 (infinity) do i really need to be connected via lan?

Hard to say without knowing more details about the wifi conditions - its quite possible that your in an area with poor reception or intermittent interference or lots of other wireless networks that are causing issues or it could be fine with low latency and constant speeds.

There are some possible OS issues with wireless that can cause it to hitch a bit too with some configurations.
 
How are people finding the AEK-971? Just unlocked it. Stats wise it's identical to the AK-12 apart from the high RoF.

Seems like a close quarters weapon. Good on maps like Operation Locker I assume.

Not being that experienced a BF player am I limited to the 4 classes? I'd kind of like a support class with LMG + airburst + ammo and another with shotgun + claymore + ammo without having to keep reconfiguring the class each time :(

Yeah, screw that. Sides were even and then certain players were moved over to the winning side to play with their mates. Made it 24v21 then on a 46 man server.

So annoying that my game keeps on crashing. Its nothing to do with over heating as I've monitored the temps. It just hangs and then I have to Alt + Tab to open task manager.

thought so!
i am sure it aint my 780 causing it, because it feels like internet lag... like i said i can be moving down the corridor, be half way down then all of a sudden i am back at the start of the corridor!
could that be caused by the 780?

well i am using the wifi built into my motherboard (asrock Z77e-itx) and it says it is connecting at 70mbps

might make a huge ethernet cable up at work and then try it
