I forgive you, Stu :)

Found this score that I didn't add to the old thread because it was only 1.2fps quicker than my first, but what the hell. I don't have the game installed at the moment, so... :p

2500K @4.5
7970 @1310/1900
13.6 B2

Tbh mate, there were a few more artifacts there than I'd like. It wasn't a disco, but it's certainly not a clock that I'd play the game at.
I found 1200-1250 to be a nice speed to play at those settings. You don't even need a solid 60 fps for this game to play smoothly IMO.

Dunno, dropping a 7950 to almost 6970 levels seems a bit off. AMD cpu's aren't that bad are they?

Not sure but I have only built a recent build with a FX-8350 and I wasn't that impressed. He has it clocked to 4.8 and is happy, so happy days.

I built him a CF 7950 system and he insisted on an AMD CPU (much to my disgust) but he is pleased with it. The biggest problem he has is windowed mode, as he likes to play in that and use other windows, so that back fired on him a bit. He is big into WoW.....

I had a good scrub up with wire wool after :D Ohhh and part of the build bargaining was to get a 2500K and a 6970 for £120, so win win for me :D

Can you update my score a little when you get the chance Uncle Petey?

I added a little more core to the GPU (from 1000 to 1100) and some more voltage/TDP limit, and voila my cards went back to 99% usage and I got just over 90 FPS instead of 80!

For some reason this also fixed the glitching hair I was seeing with TressFX enabled.
