I was bidding on one of these recently with the Fibre connections just being activated around here, and the final price ended up at only £50 less than the equivalent 5th Gen model! :eek:

This particular one was sold during the 2012 Star Wars weekends. I was there at the time, but he's massive and couldn't get him home. I picked him up on ebay and had it shipped from the states.

I've got the same speakers, always thought they were decent for the price.

I'm no audiophile but I absolutely agree, that do sound great for the money! The bass is really deep and sound quality is perfectly acceptable, paid £22 at Argos yesterday.

I've got the original retina model, still rocking.. brilliant, however you will rely heavily on an external drive!

256gb is pittance.

I picked up the Samsung portable drive, it was around £70~ for 2TB which should last for ages.
