Got a left over 256GB Samsung 830 to put into it. 16GB of RAM ordered for it. But I need a T6 torx to get the HDD swapped out.

If Apple release a new version in the next few weeks, I'll contact apple about upgrading, provided that the new one is user upgradable. Otherwise I'll stick with this.

New iMac! i7 3.5ghz, 8gb RAM (for now), 3TB fusion drive and a 4GB Nvidia graphics card. Thoroughly chuffed with it!

Nothing fancy really just an Airport Extreme 4th Gen I picked up from eBay for for Sky fibre connection, took minutes to setup and seems to be rock solid on 2.4ghz and 5ghz :D

That's a nice replacement you got there. Did you have any issues getting it all up and running, and sorting out its stability?

I haven't seen anything about TitanBlack drivers in OSX yet, working all a-okay?

No issues at all if your running X79 theres a good place to go to get everything you need to get drivers etc working correctly but unfortunately can't mention Hackintosh stuff here.

Only issue is on both cards only 1 DVI port works properly at one time, but in between boots it swathes which one that is. So sometimes if I shutdown (most of the time I put to sleep) I have to switch the cables around but yeh..

It's all working perfectly.

Ah nice. I know the place you're talking about though.

Last time I checked they had major issues with OpenCL, CUDA, and display issues. It's silly that the DVI keeps switching.

Does X79 still have sleep/power saver issues? It was all the niggles and annoyances that put me off one at the time.

It's great how the community keeps powering on. Hope you get a lot of use out of it. :D

So this is my 2013 27" imac

Its the 2013 27" with the 3.4ghz i5. Standard 1tb disk and 8gb RAM but with the 4gb Geforce GTX780m.

Plan to upgrade the RAM soon and maybe even contemplate ripping it open and fitting an SSD !

He's a special limited edition. They sell them at disney world florida every year as part of the star wars weekends.

This particular one was sold during the 2012 Star Wars weekends. I was there at the time, but he's massive and couldn't get him home. I picked him up on ebay and had it shipped from the states.
