Based on those benchmarks, it looks like two Titan X's needed for 4k @ 60fps then.

So just for 1080P you really need a Titan X to max everything, that's crazy. Imagine if there hadn't been a downgrade

Maybe I won't be able to hang onto this card as long as I thought if it's already borderline at 1080P..

Starting to think a ps4 would be smoothest option unless you have a 400 quid card.

30fps looks our best bet for anyone without a titan.

The reason why the 970, does better than the 780ti in this game, must be down to tesselation.

According to Nvidia the 900 series does tesselation 3x faster.

This game is making want to grab a second 970.....

I reckon my 970's will be able to give a solid 30fps @4K, which for this type of game is perfectly adequate, so long as its a stable 30fps that is.

Witcher 2 Uber settings @ 4K with an OCed TX is around 25-30 Fps. Looking at those figures it's roughly the same for W3.
