Gotta say, this card is a beast at 1440p. Chomping through everything I throw at it and noticeably faster than my 980.

Just wish I had a 144hz monitor so that I could see all that extra fps. Damn you Acer!

All up and running ok, they certainly run hotter than the regular 980 G1's at load. Very fast cards but I don't like the fan less mode that vendors are using these days, though that can easily be fixed permanently with a BIOS tweak.

No haribo this time :(

The asic quality for those who maybe interested were 66.1% on one, 69.8% on the other.

My previous 980 G1's were 76% and 72%.

I have a pair of MSI G6 980 ti's boosting 1392 out the box. Top cards running max temp of 80c after loads of heavy benching and the bottom card has hit 74c. Really pleased with these cards!

What benches are you using, what are your load temps? Im getting similar temps with both my cards was just curious is all so i can compare.

Is it worth spending money on two 980Ti rather than a single TX ?

Hey Radeon123, what monitor do you run? I was tempted to get a pair, but with a 1440p 60Hz panel I thought it weasn't worth it (as the Ti pretty much kills everything at my res)

32" 1080p TV (32LB580V)

I use DSR a lot now so I can quite easily max these two cards out when running them at 4k or even a bit below that in some games.

Compared to my previous 2x 980 G1's, running them at 90% load on both, the top card usually maxed out 80c with a 60% fan speed, bottom around 67c, 48 to 50% fan speed.

The 980 Ti G1's, running both of these at 90% load, the top card hits 82c with a 84% fan speed (it's like sitting next to a jet), bottom card hits around 75c, 70% fan speed.

Have changed the paste of curiosity and switched cards around but that made no difference. Even on their own with a card out, one does run hotter than the other.

My board has single slot spacing and temps are as bad even with the panel off. My cards are quite toasty.

Case and fans etc? That may be the issue.

Even open case it's very warm, fans are running great. I have had the fans in this configuration for around 2yrs without issues with a 780 Ti (reference) and 980 (G1's) SLI setup, temps have always been great, as has the CPU.

The case is a XPredator X3 white,

2x 140mm sidefans blowing in
1x 140mm rear blowing out
2x 120mm up the top blowing out
1x front 200mm blowing in
NH-D14 with 3 fans, 2x 120mm, 1x 140mm (it just looked nicer than two:) )

The GPU heatsink is doing it's job as it gets extremely hot, hold your finger on it for 3 secs at full load and you will burn it. These GPU's have raised my temperature 4c more than the SLI 980 G1's that I have ran for months.

May have to look into water cooling, never done that before so I have a lot to read up on.

Here is the case.

Poor phone photos.
