What's the temperature of both cards? I found when I switched my rad from front to top it made a big difference.
And, no doubt you'll all be testing so stick your cards at 1418 on the core and give me some benchmarks if you can.

two fans on front of the case bring air in, including the bottom 980ti aio

I am running it in valley benchmark, and the coil noise is little lower than the fans running at 50%.
Memory OC doesn't offer too much anyway, it's all about core.
Cool cheers, does everyone use the CPU for PhysX? I just changed mine to use my 5930k instead of a GPU, doubt it makes swathes of difference (at least that i'd notice).
