Well that's it, core @2100, memory @ 9100 with max power limit and 0 extra voltage: 4827 in Firestrike Ultra, easily over Hexus.net overclock.

I guess I could get 4900 and maybe even get to 5k if I wanted, but it's time for the real overclock stability test: Witcher 3.

Anyway here's the pic.

Anyone using Palit's software? Think I might give it a try to check the various colours, but I don't want to lose RivaTuner.

P.S. No coil whine either, guess I deserve it after having gone through 5 different 980Ti last gen.

It seems pretty awful for overclocking but it was good fun for messing about with the LED. Does look like it was designed in the early 2000's though.

Everything about this card does :P

Can you set up a colour and leave it at that (as in uninstall the program and keep the one you choose?).

By the way it's actually boosting to 2125 in Witcher 3, without crashes so far.

Going to check Fast Sync now.

Yep, just tried there. You can set pretty much any colour you want using the standard Windows RGB selector, or select rainbow. Default is that it changes colour with the temperature of the card.

Must be a pretty soft curve as I've only seen green (went up to 68 with Witcher 3, still green).

Just got 1070 FE card and I was wondering what is Nvidia warranty policy on overclocking?

Does overclocking/under clocking void the 3 years warranty that is provided?

Thanks

No, not at all. Overclocking is perfectly safe and supported as long as you don't modify the card itself (i.e. messing with the circuitry via a hardmod or flashing an unofficial BIOS).

My MSI Armor turned up this morning!

Got my Palit 1070 through the door today, it's great.

It's quite the thick card however!

It works pretty well in the case however and the performance has been great so far.

All in all, a pretty solid upgrade from my 270x, if anyone else is planning on an upgrade from a similar card, here's what the upgrade did for me, just with random benchmarks I had on my PC.
Everything on ultra at 1920x1080, Firestrike, SteamVR and RE6 benchmarks all using scores instead of FPS.

To get on the Roll of Honour all you have to do is post a pic with your user name on it of your GTX 1070.

Any chance you could do standard firestrike too? I don't have extreme (do you have to pay for it?!) So would be nice to compare to my Gaming X :)

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/12899015?

20.930 @ 2125/4500, no extra voltage. This is where I'm settling, haven't even tried to add more, but I know I wouldn't gain much anyway :D (I have the same performance as my old 980Ti which is all I needed).

P.S.

Matching 1080 FE - that's why I didn't bother with that card.
