Is there an easy guide somewhere for how to overclock these things?

I've managed to bump my GPU to 1345 (stock is 1304 on my 4GB Nitre) without touching voltage but I'm not confident with mucking with voltages and I want to see how close I can get the RAM to 8Gbps.

Got my 4GB Nitro+ installed today. Clocked it to 1360/1950 and seems stable so far. Got me an extra 2.5 FPS on Unigine Valley. Reckon it's still got a little more in it.

I'm running it on an old i5 750 @ 3.36GHz and it has at least trebled my FPS over my 5850

That HIS card, is there any reviews of the higher OC'd one? the Roaring x2 Turbo or whatever its called? i want to know what the thermals are like on it, if its decent enough i might buy 2 of them.

I will strip the shrouds off and spray them matt black however, as they look hideous with that gold lion on them.

But i want to know what the thermals are like.

Just done a time spy demo + benchmark and the highest temperature was 80C with the fans at the time at 59%. Fans are barely audible while wearing headphones at 65% ish. Fan speed under 70% kept temps in the 70s. Noticed the card was throttling as well, so may have a play about with undervolting and see what the fan profiles are. When the fans are at 100% they're most definitely audible while wearing headphones!!

You just have to up the power target to 20-50% to stop it throttling, not lowering voltage.

It's (was) a Silverstone Grandia GD01 which has had radical intervention with a Dremel to cut the HD cage down and some other bits n bobs.

Got rid of the optical drive bay etc too.

Thanks, is that 'power limit' in wattman? Mine only moves +/- 5%
