What would you say is an average benchmark result for 1070 that is not overclocked ?

Hi Jamesyboyjim, did you register your Zotac founders with Zotac? I noticed somewhere on this forum it says that if you don't it defaults to a 2 year warranty!

Indeed they do, asked about this and was told No RMA has been issued for Micron Memory globally at the mo.

Hopefully give a state soon and glad for Palit as just ordered 4 of them

thats a pretty sweet card you got.

Also an update on drivers, I updated to the latest drivers earlier this week and can confirm the power utilisation bug is fixed. I also observed the card will stay at lower clocks now when under light load so runs even cooler and less power, I expect the early drivers were made aggressive to help benchmarks from reviewers and to keep early adopters happy.

Downloaded the EVGA FTW bios from EVGA for the Micron fix, I can now overclock the card more.

Could someone explain please. But i notice a primary and secondary bios file. Do i have to do the primary bios and then physically switch over to the secondary via the switch on the card and the flash the secondary bios?

Couldn't find the exact information on this. Thanks

I've been doing some rounds at the manufacturers with the following info (we'll update as feedback gets in). A number of manufacturers is or have been working on VBIOS updates:

Gigabyte: Gigabyte confirms using both Samsung and Micron memory - thus far no issues have been detected or reported by them or it consumers. Latest infor we received from their R&D is that they will issue a new BIOS. The planned schedule is next week.
Inno3D: no info available
KFA2/Galaxy: not yet available
MSI: MSI have been using both Micron and Samsung memory. They are working on it and BIOS updates will be available soon on their website (after a verification and validation process).
PNY: no info available
Zotac: no info available

Apparently so yes! Haven't seen that written anywhere officially though, only posts on here also. But yes, I registered the card after a few days of ownership. Only takes a minute and could easily upload the handy .pdf invoice overclockers send

The only info given was "Card must be set to BIOS that is being flashed" is it manual?
