It is undoubtedly going to be in 4k. A confused non-native English speaking rep saying otherwise isn't cause for concern.

Its a Wiki page but https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Grand_Tour_(TV_series) does show Picture format 4K (Ultra HD) 23.98fps HDR

Not that I have 4K yet lol

Try Curry's PC world got one from there at the weekend, ordered it saturday evening was delivered for free sunday afternoon.
