Mine was faulty first i thought it was Power Supply so sent it back to Microsoft took 20 days for a replacement Bravo Microsoft i think not. In that time though i tried my friends Power Supply but console was faulty itself. So when i got power supply back i arranged to send it back they come pick it up next day took 3 days altogether what i thought was superb ive had a 13th January 360 for well over a week going strong so far.
Mines problem free and I am 99.99% certain my Xbox360 has seen more use than anyone else here (around about 12-16 hours a day average between December 27th and January 29th).
Bought a few weeks ago, starting freezing after a week or two. Freezing looked like an overheating issue, but it would happen after 30 seconds - the Box and PSU were still pretty cool.
Bought my premium on release day and it had been sitting in the shop for about a week prior to that. Absolutely no problems other than a few lock ups going to the Guide during game loading etc. - all software problems basically. I've been running it standing up and with loads of room around it. Soon it'll be going horizontal and into a loose fitting cabinet - we'll see if that makes any difference.
Xbox Core - Locked up during games, after rebooting stuck on red lights of doom.
Been replaced last week, still working but I have only played on it for a total of two hours so far.
I voted my Xbox360 had problems. It has, but it hasn't gone back.
The computer room is cold (heating not needed, so during the night it cools down when most of the equpiment is off) and the first time you switch the xbox on nothing happens. The next time (or time after if it is real cold) it works.
It is going back as soon as I know stock levels are good.
