thanks... yeah it is old BH-5 (Corsair XMS3500C2-PT) @ 3.5v with a booster and a 120mm fan over it...... i alrealdy killed it once and brought it back to life, its a long story, :p

Nice... Corsair RAM is the dogs danglies:) Am loving my current 2gig set!

Here's mine, for what it's worth :)

CPU is overclocked as far as the motherboard will allow(beta BIOS's don't sit well on my system for some reason)but it's stable at stock voltages.

CPU stepping is CABNE 0545BPMW running on air(Akasa AK-859). Rest of my system as per sig.

Had another wee tinker about, managed 4.2 rock stable, but the mobbo can't hack any more, 281fsb was ok but not a lot faster, 282fsb was quite unstable and 283fsb hosed windows

Ah well, s'pose i can't really complain for a system that half of it is almost 2 years old, the other half is almost 4 years old, plus it's using cheap Adata Pc3200 RAM.

Now then Mr weescott, when you planning to update that wee table of yours? :p

LOL! just noticed, once I'm added to the table none of the PC's above me are anything like as old as this old girl, in fact none of those CPU's were even available when this one was bought.

Speaks for itself imo.

nice stuff there :)
best i managed with my old P4 s478 was going from 3.2GHz to 3.9GHz on air, i think it hit 4GHz with my northwood but it wasn't stable at all...
in the end the chip died, bought a 3.2GHz prescott instead... and i didn't feel comfortable with it over 3.5GHz :o

now on my new s939 setup with the 4000+ :)

same stepping as me, currently on 2.88 altho only had enough time for 4 hours prime but had no probs, stable at 2.81, hope they release a new bios for your board, i wonna know what other people our pushing outta these chips, hit 3GHZ but was highly unstable, managed a screenshot saved before BSOD

Hi there, thought I'd join you since I managed to get a half decent time.

This is on my X2 4400+ @ 2809MHz on stock cooler.
Memory timings were 2.5-3-3-6.

Nowhere near stable but stable enough to do the test :p

Stan :)

Not bad considering on stock volts + air cooling. Could push it for a lower time if I wanted to raise the volts. Also just noticed I have 48 services running in the background so if I disabled those could probably get a little more.
Ram timings are: 4-4-4-12
