Thats because my system is tweaked to the max, I've disabled all the services I don't need and hate having a messy system in general so there isn't anything unnecessary running in the background.

i think you'll find X2 are maybe weaker in super pi

my FX55 was a monster at super pi.....but was last year never got any pics

thanks... yeah it is old BH-5 (Corsair XMS3500C2-PT) @ 3.5v with a booster and a 120mm fan over it...... i alrealdy killed it once and brought it back to life, its a long story,

My first proper whack at it with my new system.

AMD64 4000+ (CABGE stepping), 2GB G.Skill (ZX - 2, 3, 2, 5) with Windows XP running off my old 74GB Raptor

Can't seem to get the 4000+ to get to 2.7GHz, although I haven't pushed the voltage properly on it yet, with only minor tweaking it wont go over what it did on that screenie... seems to be perfectly stable (benches fine with 3dMark 05... got 8473 when it was @ 2.595GHz, not Primed yet though)

haha thanks....it would be nice if it was stable..

that was almost suicide,

it was in a cold room too, 2850 is max in normal room
