Show Us Your Motors!

My new car, purchased yesterday for cash (first time I've ever actually saved up and paid cash for a car lol).

Its a Mercedes C200 Elegance. Its taken me ages to find a really good one, but I'm so pleased with it. Its in original showroom condition, not a mark on it - even the door hinges etc are clean as a whistle. Interior is spotless and the car drives superbly - smooth and quiet as a sowing machine, just as a mercedes benz should be. Its my 2nd mercedes and I dont want to drive anything else. Theres something special about looking down the bonnet and seeing that 3 pointed star :)

Nice buy. The parents have a 04, 1.2 16v Dynamique is vertigo green, great colour :D

How much did it set you back?

£6k from a Renault dealership of all places, wouldn't have got it from there but I managed to ring £3800 p/x out of them on my old 51 plate 1.2 with 36k on it and with 1yrs renault extended warrenty I decided not to pass it up.
I'm happy with it still makes me smile when I give the right pedal a poke anyway, wanted a 182 but at 18 insurance had other ideas this on the other hand is cheap enough. Still having a 182 next though :D .

The change to 3rd doesn't do the 0-60 any favours, 2nd on the limiter is 58mph aparrently.
Feels quicker than that but doesn't it always, it much quicker than the 12.8 the old 1.2 used the manage.
Pulls to a ton so easily too whereas the old one used die after 60.

Thats a 35-95 or so, wasn't doing brilliant gearchanges though as the box in this is so different to the old 1.2 and i'd only had it about 4 days then. Got half a tank and sub and 2 amps in for excuses :p. All on private track of course.

It usually is, but I polished it, and waxed it a couple of days ago. I used Meguiar's Cold Glass Clear Coat Liquid Wax and the finish isn't very shiny at all now. Maybe I didn't remove it correctly, but it was certainly a lot more shiny after polishing, but before waxing. :(

Running the image through photoshop can't have helped by the looks of things.
