Ah in that case it's really not bad at all! NCB is king I'm afraid. I'm coming up to 3 years NCB now and insurance is starting to get very reasonable on just about anything I want.
 
yeah, i've got 7 years NCB at 24 and i got a quote for my celica running at 300BHP with exhaust, boost controller, intake etc etc

£650 :)
 
Thats lovely, congrats on the purchase!!!.

I've never seen a BMW in that colour before on the road. I assume its quite a rare shade?.
 
For under 21, thats a good quote. Ive known people to pay as much for the privledge of driving a primera.
I like the colours so I think you've done well if you have got a low price because of it, how powerfull are these cars and have you driven rwd much before.

Take it easy and enjoy yourself either way :)
 
Stunning car, good choice. I have got to say and no offence intended that the interior being cloth and that colour is absolute Gash!. Still, Good BMW Leather interiors change hands on ebay all the time and at good prices too.

I've a set of Aluminium dash and door inserts and Gear Stick / Window Switches if you are interested. (think i've got carbon fibre too in the garage).

I hope it brings you lots of motoring pleasure and can I say, what an excellent price tbh!
 
Apparently the couple who own it have just been offered £8,500 for it, but will honour the auction at £7,800!

silversurfer, the car is standard with 231PS, 228hp. I've had no permanent car with RWD as of yet. The DSC will be staying firmly on :p

Just don't do the pay now collect later as they suggest. You can do a wired instant transfer from your account to theirs for a small fee, think its about £20. Course if you are with the same bank its easier.
 
I imagine the colour is no where near so violent on the eyes in the flesh. Pictures of the cranberry interiour of the Jag looked hideous, but when you saw it in the flesh, it looked really nice.

I like the exterior colour,but the seats would look better in that colour if they were suede or leather.

However what a bargain! :cool:
 
please please replace the front bumper! i dunno where they came from on the sport! but replace it with the newer one! :D .

They are alcantara (Which is basically suede) electrically operated heated memory seats :)

I think that maybe they look cloth in the pictures as, other than a bit of wear on the driver's and passenger bolsters, they are very clean.

Looking at those pictures, quite clearly only the bolsters are Alcantara / Suede. The rest is definately cloth.
 
I looked a few times at these pics and I have to say I think it looks very original and pretty cool !

Nice purchase..
