Listen mr hardon without a 360 thats constantly moaning in the thread for a game he cant even say anything good about but wants to be taken seriously when it suits him.....

Quoted for truth

Ignore the troll :)

hehe better make that a padded room

dirtydog: just out of curiosity....I read that you sold your ps2 but still have an xbox, have you played forza 1 on it ? curious to what you made of it.

i have played and finished all the GT games and loved them all but i like forza even more because it offers me more of a challenge, with the "realistic" handling some of the races are frickin hard

You can see how many posts dirty has got overall, just makes me think hmm does he just post crap all the time in any forum he goes in.

I suggest anyone fed up with dirtydog's posts just add him to your ignore list. I have. Makes threads much more readable (well, if Mr Latte would stop quoting him ;)).

Tonight i spent about an hour playing PGR3 and particulary with New York it still blows me away. The detail to the buildings, the sheer size and amount of them and that you really feel your driving in a realistic looking city. Add to that the speed you get and the thrill doing 200mph over the Brooklyn Bridge.

Yet you get people with the attitude that because the game wasnt 720p or didnt have AA the graphics arnt that impressive.

We know this game is going to look better and handle better than PGR3 so for me thats enough to not doubt it and im sure some of you agree.

I thought PGR was allright and the graphics were great but it wasnt brillant, I wouldnt spend any amount of time on it unless the multiplay caught me maybe. Too arcadey, gt4 had more to it but still not enough!

I don't need a crystal ball when all the previous GT games had a lot more content than Forza 2 has, and also had more realistic lighting etc. Plus going by the early screenshots of GT:HD / GT 5 it already looks more realistic than Forza 2. So no, a crystal ball is not required. I don't know that GT 5 will be better, but it seems a fair bet to me. Which is a shame because I wanted Forza to be great.
Is it not about gameplay?

Wait til you see PGR4!

In a pitpass report other week said it was May 15th in USA and May 25th in Europe.

But this game has had a ton of delays would not be suprised if its delayed again to put finishing touches in.

From a friend in the know ;)
They must be pretty well in the know if they "know" the release date has slipped to the 8th of June. Turn 10 have said they will pass the game off to certification, allowing for a month there, probably at the end of april. Im still expecting a May 25th time frame. But i am an optimist.

yes they are :)

Turn 10 do not decide when the game hits retail im afraid.

Thats the job of a publisher and in this case thats Microsoft.

The devs have a deadline which must be fast approaching to submit the game for final testing prior to it going GOLD thats their only deadline.
