Forceware 174.31's WHQL XP 32/64bit and Vista 32/64bit

Just found these over at Laptopvideo2go, for 6/7/8/9 series cards.

XP 32bit

Note: Once downloaded and extracted, the extracted Folder will be called:- 174.31_vista64, but they are XP 32bit.

EDIT: Also download the modded.inf's for the set you require, then once you have extracted the drivers, drag the modded .inf across into the extracted folder thats created, and say yes to replace, then run the Setup.exe to install.

Fixed COD4 crash issue? I thought my OC was too high, but another has reported it crashes after about 10 seconds.

"The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit"

Please tell me you're not trying to install these with the graphics card in your sig...

You also need to download the modded.inf's, then once you've extracted the drivers, drag the modded .inf across to the folder and replace when it says it already exists, then run the Setup.exe to install.

Desktop cards, just download the modded .inf for the set you require.

Are they good? Im on 169.38 on vista 64 at the mo, so will these be of any benefit you reckon?

never updated my Sig.

8800GT running 169.38 at the mo and get the above error message

Yeah should be, the 169 series drivers are old now, the later sets have a newer Control Panel, and a new setting called Maximum pre-rendered frames, and the Vista set of these have had a couple of good reports over in the thread on them at Guru3D.

Now theres a question

, i think the higher you set it (as it goes up to 8), its the number of frames the CPU prepares ahead for the GPU, so it can smooth out your gameplay.
