I'll provide a link to the download when it's up (If anyone of the forum members catches the download before me then please send me a trust so i can update the OP as I'm not sure if they will send out e-mails to say the download is now active)

Keep the thread clean no Amd/Nvidia bashing or flaming!!

When posting your benchmark results could you please state if you are using the *FREE EDITION* or the *FULL VERSION* If using the full version please select one of the pre-sets to run if you want to do comparisons the pre-sets available will be

Entry level
Performance level
Extreme level

The free edition uses the performance level pre-set @ 1280x720 (720P) maybe we should all stick to at least doing 1 run of this mode so we can gauge just how well the benchmark is performing across different systems

I ordered it today direct from Futuremark and had no email similiar to this. My download link is a Futuremark one too not Steam.

No idea - I pre ordered mine a while ago - the Steam Link is for the "free game" the bench is a direct Futiremark D/L
 
there is still a massive graphic on their web page saying it launches 30th November. Checked the download link and not yet appeared although maybe due to time regions.
 
nice one, compo entered. I emailed Futuremark asking if it was out today and I have not had a reply but I notice the big graphic on their homepage now says "coming soon" instead of available 30th November.

What will the default res be for the free edition? Just that my monitor doesnt support 1280x1024 so i could never run vantage.
 
This preset is designed for benchmarking with a moderate load on the graphics card. The benchmark runs in 1280 x 720 (720p) making it suitable for most DirectX 11 capable gaming PCs.

Checked the res settings, at least 1280x720 is available to me, i cant select 1280x1024 for 06 or vantage, monitor is a 24" Benq FP241W.

There's better free benchmarks, like Unigine, that you can use to test stability and compare systems with all the options available. 3dMark needs to go with adverts or something. How are they even still making money out of benchmarks?! :confused:

Glad to see your excited. How about you stop posting negi comments in this thread and go moan about 3d mark somewhere else?
