the only thing that didnt install was my x-fi card
will vista 64 driver do the job ?

Haha i dont know if M$ is giving them out freely now but i had the firefox add on refreshing with like 10 windows and crashed my laptop, it isnt that good, then 20 minutes later on first atempt of looking i got a beta key. I was quite amazed.

Burning to disc and gonna install soon.

Has anyone upgraded to Windows 7 rather than a fresh install? I've currently got in install on another drive but I wouldn't mind it as my main OS so I'll actually use it...

I have never upgraded an OS so I dunno what happens when you do? Is it pretty straight forward or is it going to break all my games/apps/documents?

Just do a clean install, it's far safer and you'll run into less problems.
