I posted up during the week but my aches and pains in my legs are still there.
Basically last week i played a lot of football, 5 days of the week and on the following Tuesday after my first 11 a side match in 5 years my legs ached like hell.
I went to training on Wednesday night and my legs were still aching. I skipped football on Friday night, but if i jog or walk now they still hurt. I understand that this is lacted(?) acid. I have a match tomorrow (possibly two) and i have to play. I can't let the team down, but i need to get rid of these aching legs. I haven't done anything since Wednesday night.
Should i do loads of stretching today and jump straight in a cold water bath? Should i go for a light cycle ride? On Wednesday i spent a long time stretching out with no change, legs still hurt to run on.
Pathetic really and i have never suffered from it before.
