Series 3 of Boardwalk Empire starts in the States on the 16th September, not sure (or care really) when it will be relayed over on Sky but I'm looking forward to it.

Didn't think Series 2 was quite as good as the first and still feel that off air disputes between Michael Pitt and the producers caused the 'shock' ending rather than a genuine story development that was always planned but hey I enjoyed it all the same. The new series has a new gangster and nemesis for Nucky in 'Gyp Rosetti' [Bobby Cannavale] and returns for the likes of Al Capone, Arnold Rothstein, Mayer Lanky and Charles "Lucky" Luciano as you'd expect.

Bit disappointed they didn't use a real historical gangster given there are a few they still haven't used in the show yet (Dean O'Banion, Bugsy Moran for example) but he still seems pretty bad ass in the trailers....

...which are here...

So, will you be watching?

Cannot wait for S2, in the summer you forget that actually there are some really great tv shows still being made.

This and Boss along with Newsroom are my favorites but also Dexter has been brilliant on and off.

Ah ha, yeah that was fairly harrowing.

I think the Mrs and I are watching that episode tonight. She hasn't seen all of S2 yet, so we're working through it. To have S3 out next month works incredibly well!

I see what you (unintentionally) did there ;)

Watched all of Season 1, -5 episodes of Season 2 and become completely and utterly bored of it.

It reminded me of Season 2 of the Wire, nothing happened, it was like watching Big Brother 1920's version.

Shame, as it had so much potential.

I just finished catching up with Season 2, i thought it was just as good as the first season tbh, so im left with wanting more! Cant wait for the 16th and to see what characters are introduced into the new season.

R.I.P. Jimmy.. "To the lost"
