this is a thread to keep track of everybody's top scores using the warhead benchmark tool.

what you need-

-the game :p
-the benchmark tool: http://cid-0459fc515f4928b3.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Public/FBWH.rar
-gpu-z (please include this on your screenshot along with the results): http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/SysInfo/GPU-Z/

the rules-

as always, you must submit your score online via the this form i have made...

http://www.marc2003.ukfsn.org/ocuk/submit.php?bench=warhead

now i've had enough of people not being able to read or submitting duff links to unreadable screenshots. so from now on, any incorrect entries won't just be deleted - you'll be barred from entering again and you will have any previous entries removed from any other databases i maintain. (a little tip: after you've submitted your score, click your name in the results table to make sure a legible screenshot appears. ;))

if for some reason you do bodge your entry, then use the form again and it will overwrite your old entry. same applies if you have a new score to submit, just use the form again.

the settings you must use-

-directx 9 only
-no AA
-ambush flythrough (not to be confused with the standard "ambush" demo)
f6e0d2b79e8a0ecbbb36e6e5358bad84.png

-3 loops
-time of day 0 (default)

now choose either

1280 x 1024 GAMER or
1680 x 1050 ENTHUSIAST

(you can use the form again to submit one score for each setting though)

simple eh? :D

Submitted but managed to **** up on the memory / shader speeds, should be 715 / 1485 / 1300.

use the form again and it will overwrite your old result. i'm not editing stuff- too much hassle. :p

edit: i've just deleted your entry - you need to run the bench again because you ran the wrong timedemo. it needs to be the "ambush flythrough" as mentioned in the opening post. :D

Submitted mine.

Running those demos and watching the stutter made me realise I need more RAM. Gonna hold off playing the actual game until I get an extra 2 gig.

uploaded mine :)

what a brilliant game, makes crysis 1 look old and well bland :p

graphics wise, i think that :

minimum on warhead is like crysis on meidum but runs twice as good fps as crysis on low.

mainstream on warhead is like crysis on high but runs fps like crysis on low

gamer on warhead is like crysis on very high but runs with fps like crysis on medium

enthusiast looks twice as good as crysis in general looks so life like, and has fps like crysis on high, which is still a good average of 50-70 depending on where you are :)

IceShock: You say it has a good average of 50-70fps depending where you are, yet your enthusiast 1680 x 1050 score is only 29? I'm not familiar with the benchmark, so does it benchmark a specifically demanding part of the game? Seems odd you're only getting 7 or so fps more than a 4850 with that 4870X2?

yeah 29 but thats just the benchmark, i said depending on where you are, if your just in a bit of a jungle fps is 60, if you look at a jungle with the ocean and loads of bombs going off in background it will hit 30.

and question 2, its cause i dont have a quad core plus the game doesnt scale well with 2 gpu cores.

Fair enough, just 29 and 50 seem quite fair apart is all!

I assumed at 1680 x 1050 the 4870X2 would show a far greater benefit (Not being such a CPU bound resolution) than a quad core, but it gives me hope for my own quad core. IIRC it made little difference in Crysis.

Just have to see how SLI scales now!

Edit: Iceshock looking at the above 4870 Crossfire score i suggest you run it again. I don't see two extra cores making a 27FPS difference!
