Film Four is Freeeeeeeeeeee

As from Sunday 23rd apparently, on Cable/Satellite and Freeview. Just as a point of interest, if you have a Sky box without a subscription but you watch the normal channels plus ITV3 etc through it should you get this too? If so do you have to plug the phone cable in to update it?

It was known that Film Four was going to be free earlier this year - we've just been waiting for the date.
They have around 300,000 subscribers at the moment, but feel opening it up to a potential audience of 18m is a better idea.

They have promised to keep the same kind of films.
Family during the afternoon, action & "Hollywood" during the evening with scarier and cult films during the evening.
We are however going to lose Film Four weekly and of course once it does go free there will be advertisement breaks during the films.

just had a look at the upcoming 2 weeks schedule, theres one film i like the look of and 3 ive heard of, they all sound arty and or boring

I meant that I seldom watch tv as there's nothing but crap on, but I might have an excuse to watch something on tv now.
