BBC News: A school has banned triangular flapjacks after an incident where a student threw one across dining hall and injured another pupil.

After testing the composition of flapjack school said it will now only serve square flapjacks as they are less dangerous.

Whhhhaaaaatttt!!!!

I'd argue square flapjacks are more dangerous as they have an additional edge.

Round would be the best for the risk averse confectionery consumer. :D

I remember making a ninja star in DT at school, threw it in to the ceiling, my friend looked up at it, looked down to me and said "That's cool." The star fell out of the ceiling and impaled my friends head, there was bloody everywhere, the lulz I had.

We made them out of AOL CD's :p

I'm worried - i sent my son to school today with triangle cheese sandwiches - I wonder what damage he might do with them in the playground!!! Should I call the school?

I was considered too dangerous at school by teachers so I was not allowed to do woodwork or metalwork at school.

Instead they made me do Home Economics (cooking) in a room with dozens of sharp knives?

Of course, back when I were a Lad. Anybody engaging in a food fight at mealtimes would have received a rather different injury and at the other end!

Pretty sure they'd be capable of throwing a square flapjack just as well as a triangular one. A square one could be more dangerous too!
