Just booked tickets for me and a mate this morning for the 16th - 19th June :D Anyone else going on these dates? Should be fun given ive never driven accross the pond before. Me and my mate will be taking the volvo down early on the 15th.

Never been to Le Mans either so i cant wait :D

Drive to Le Mans is fantastic, not done it as a driver but my dad seemed to have a laugh, he went mainly for the country road route with limited toil use.

Took a fair amount of time though.

I've been thinking of going this year but not got any tickets booked since i have limited funds atm, whats the cost like?
 
I'm doing the 14th - 18th this year :D Where you staying? I'm on Houx Annex with a group of friends.

Trip down is fantastic, you'll see a lot of exotica and everyone is really friendly.

There was rumour of some kind of race but we were far too busy to notice.
 
Not going to Le Mans, but will probably go see A1 GP this autumn at Brands Hatch :)

Interesting, never thought of going to Le Mans before? How far into france is it? And how much does it cost for tickets and camping?

£400 for the two of us in one car + petrol money + beer money :D
 
Im not going for the proper 24hrs, but Im going to the Le Mans Classic in July. :)

do you guys have a convoy ?

if so, are you meeting anywhere for the ferry or chunnel?

there are 6 of us going down list of cars confirmed is below, still about 10 peopl sitting on the fence.

Im trying to get a load of us together from a few forums for a huge english invasion on france!

so far we have confirmed

booked time off and going, but NO meeting place decided. we are looking to see if there is a "common meeting place" for other going and trying to join a big pack.

there is a load of guys who my pals met on the gumball last year meeting up on Thursday 9:06 am at the Chunnel, any of you guys interested in meeting up and having a large hoon to lemans?
 
I'm going as usual. Should get the gasser Zodiac there this year so watch out for our killer burnouts at Arnage on Sunday evening after the race

No. Me and my mate are taking my car and just travelling on our own by the looks of it. We are catching the 12:30 (in the afternoon) ferry out of Dover to Calais and then on to le mans.

Hoping to see plenty of Exotica on the way :D Will no doubt stop somewhere for a break on the way down so if there is like a mini meet or something, i'll be in.

I'm going, meeting in Portsmouth on the Wednesday, travelling over on Thursday stopping off on the way for the England game and then on to Le Mans on Fri.

Convoy will be lots of Ferrari's including an F40 and possibly and F50

May I ask what that includes?

I've always fancied giving it a go. Would really like to take the Scoob before she and I part company.

Includes camping pass on karting nord (sp), Ferry booking, and tickets to the race :) (for £200 each, not bad i thought)

Sorry, meant to ask how long thats for - just the 2 day weekend?

From the ferry, any idea how long it will take? I'm near enough on the western point of Wales so a fair trek just to get to the ferry :)

Thats for 5 days. Travelling down on the Thursday, so staying Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun nights, and travelling back monday afternoon ish :D

from the ferry it shouldnt take too long.

I think I'm on the same boat as you then.

It's off with the Zodiac this year though, needs some work done and it won't be finished by Lemans due to lack of funds on the owner's part. We'll be in a normal car :(
