* ign uk (v.funny)
* 1up - in this thread (this pdcast has had a lot of history and there finally getting things back on track - basically the guy who used to run it went to 343 industries and they spent ages finding a format/replacement)
* eurogamer (shambolic at best but can be a laugh)

there the main ones i listen to, i used to listen to pcgamer and the like but their very dry.

Joystiq is really great. as is Giantbomb. IGN are just a bunch of immature clowns and 1up its a snore fest.

Rebel FM is good in parts

Can i ask why all these game podcasts always have some really stupid agony aunt sections where they answer questions from 11 year old kids about kissing a girl in his class. Its ****** pathetic and the people who are hosting always try to make out like there some kind of stud. Its a gaming podcast FFS.

Wasn't a bad one i picked up the other day after seeing this thread, semi medium flowing game talk.

Agree with stoke though, tbh most of that turns me off gaming casts.

Humours not a problem, it's just not hard to shrug your shoulders when every other topic of discussion end's up like something playing out in the school yard when you were 10 years old.

Gamespot gets it right, retro casts aside, the only must have weekly for me.

A few months on I've narrowed it down to what I think are the best.

PCGamer UK/US aren't that great, too long and a bit immature. RebelFM is hit and miss, decided to drop it. Didn't get on with 4PlayerPodcast either.

I can just about handle these in a week, might have to drop gamers with jobs due to length.

Weekend Confirmed is amazing, fantastic quality & structure. Giant Bomb is awesome an as well, as is Epic Battle Axe.

Thanks for this list. I have been on the look out for a new PC orientated podcast and I like the look of Epic Battle Axe. Downloading the latest episode now :)
